A little about myself, what's happing, what's happened and what's to come...
Hello there, thanks for spending the time to check out my page! I'm very excited to start up this site, and especially this blog! I'm not one for posting daily on socials, but I would still like a space where I can talk about what I'm currently working on, a place to connect and network with friends, fans and potential collaborators, as well as a reflecting back at past experiences. so, here we! The first post!
Noise, I just love noise! When starting a new band with a friend who was playing drums for 'Suicide Party', we just wanted to make noise. A lot of it. Slow chugging Bass riffs soaked in Fuzz, Distortion and reverb against a wall of barbaric and raw drums. I thought it would be a good idea to scream over the soundscape, as I was never a good singer. Even if I was, full out primal aggression was the only way to be heard. This was the start of 'SwordZZZ.
First song we wrote 'Animal', after reconnecting and recruiting an old friend to layer up some guitar, we went straight to recording a demo in my flat then made a 'lost footage' video made up of clips from old school horror and sci-fi b-movies.
